Welcome

I had a good run in the fashion business where Creativity is survival.

When I was flush and could, I sold out to pursue the calling and have been painting daily since

Before that I actually earned a living (thank G-d) raised two well-adjusted children and had a decent social life.

My goal is to paint colourful paintings that have meaning to me, that make me laugh and cry (well mostly laugh). I avoid angst but if it does creep in, it's genuinely exploitive. I live with my wife and my dog - Miss Zoe Waggles - and both still love me.

I enjoy connecting with artists and art lovers worldwide and I welcome your comments.

My format is oils and pastels. I paint from real life, sketches, and photos. I love to watch classic movies and take inspiration from the actors and actresses, from stars to cameo players and especially extras.
